Prototypes as a Structured Information Source in Theory Nexus
International Conference 2023 of the Design Research Society Special Interest Group on Experiential Knowledge (EKSIG) Conference Proceedings
My paper titled “Prototypes as a Structured Information Source in Theory Nexus” has been published in the Proceedings of the EKSIG2023 Conference!
This paper delves into the world of prototyping in design research and its role in shaping our understanding of human-centered societal challenges. It’s a synthesis of one major aspect of my doctoral research, completed in 2022. ❤️ Working alongside Luca Szabados offered a unique exploration of how prosthetic prototypes aren’t just physical objects; they’re a tangible chain of thoughts that connect theory, research, and real-world application, offering a fresh perspective on societal challenges.
You can access the full paper in the International Conference Proceedings 2023 of the Design Research Society Special Interest Group on Experiential Knowledge (EKSIG) held at Politecnico di Milano.
